This is another great location for fishing. We enjoy the attractive views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a delightful hike, but it is significantly longer and involves climbing uphill, so it may not be an excellent experience for small children. The cavern, which is really more of an open arch, is impressive though, and a nice questionable spot to rest after the hike.
We love this nice rest stop in Logan Canyon. Rick's Springtime is a brief stop along the canyon road.

One sits under the springtime and you have to scuba dive to view it, but the other is a brief little cave to the left of the springtime. Tony Grove is one of our favorite places to go to in Logan.
This lake is located approximately 7 miles from the main canyon road, but worth the trip. The wildflowers in mid- July are beautiful. Limber Pine Trail is an easy trail to this enormous tree. It is really regarding 7 trees that grew together, but still impressive. The route is scenic and even has a Bear Lake overlook.
